When Thomas Barnardo came to London in 1866, he found children sleeping in the streets and being forced to beg for food. By the time Barnardo died in 1905, the charity he founded ran 96 homes caring for more than 8,500 children.
His work still continues, and today Barnardos runs 415 projects across the UK and works directly with over 100,000 families providing services for children in poverty, young carers or children who have been sexually exploited.

Barnados will receive a donation of at least $1 from every sale of this theme.
