The Light Flashlight

This is flashlight application. It uses video light or Display Screen for phones without video light.

There are plenty of flashlight applications already. What is so different about this one? It is FREE!!!

This is the story of this application.

I dropped my keys in the dark and I tried to find them with BlackBerry camera application. Light couldnt stay more then a few seconds, but I still managed to find my keys. I decided I need a better flashlight application and I bought one because I couldnt find a free app. I installed it and I got just an additional menu item that points to the same camera application. Well I bought a second flashlight application. It was even bigger disappointment, because light couldnt come up at all. Instead of wasting my money I decided to write it myself. I spend a couple of days and here it is.

It works just well on all my devices. It is convenient to use. One click and the light is on. One more click ESC or trackball and the light is off.
Version 1.5 also has Toggle Light button or SPACE key to toggle light without exiting an application.
Version 2.0 fixed issues with Overlay screen, backlight and lanscape mode.
Version 2.1 has Options for Video Light, Video Light View Finder, Display Screen for devices without Video Light

It does not require any additional settings.

This program can not do any magic with phones that do not have a video flash like 8520/8530, but you can use Options menu and set it to use Diasply Screen.

I also was asked why this app requires a Personal Info permission for OS 6.0+. Actually it only asks the permission to use Media Player, but it is considered as Personal Info permission in OS 6.0+.
