The Heat Exchanger Area is a easy to use application that will allow your BlackBerry PlayBook to calculate the area of a heat exchanger.

Just input the following information:

Inlet and outlet temperatures for shell side of heat exchanger
Inlet and outlet temperatures for tube side of heat exchanger
Overall duty of heat exchanger
Heat transfer coefficient
Number of heat exchanger shells
Number of shells in series

The app will then calculate the following:
