Before and during flight, pilots are required to perform various calculations to determine their flight path, air speed, ground speed, fuel requirements, etc. A sliderule styled E6B Flight Computer is frequently used to assist in many of these calculations.

The Flight Computer application performs many of these calculations directly on your BlackBerry PlayBook device. The following calculations are currently supported by the Flight Computer application, with more calculations planned to be added in future releases:
