WXSYS Locator
The WXSYS Locator app is an entirely new way to use the PIN to PIN, GPS, Maps and location features of your BlackBerry.
Utilizing the incredibly fast and reliable PIN to PIN technology, unique to BlackBerry, WXSYS Locator enables you to easily find other BlackBerry users whose device PINs are in your BlackBerry addressbook. Find your friends, or see where you children are, virtually instantly. Share locations with other BlackBerry users.
IMPORTANT NOTE
THIS APP FINDS AND SHARES LOCATIONS WITH OTHER BLACKBERRY USERS WHOSE DEVICE PINS ARE
INCLUDED IN THE CONTACT DETAILS IN YOUR BLACKBERRY ADRESSBOOK. ADDRESSBOOK ENTRIES MUST CONTAIN THE CONTACTS BLACKBERRY PIN. IF A CONTACTS BLACKBERRY PIN IS NOT YET INCLUDED IN YOUR ADDRESSBOOK ENTRY FOR THAT CONTACT, THE CONTACT WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE WITH THE APP.
THIS DEVICE DOES NOT UTILIZE CONTACTS FROM BLACKBERRY MESSENGER CONTACT LISTS.
WXSYS Locator enables you easily view your outdoor location on Maps and save locations for future reference. You can name locations and add remarks about the location to its description field.
You can see also your Distance and Bearing to previously saved locations and obtain guidance on how to get from where you are to any saved location. This feature is great for finding your way back to saved locations like campsites, or a parked vehicle.
WXSYS Locator enables you to easily share your saved locations with other WXSYS Locator app users.
Send the coordinates of points of interest to other users along with your remarks in the description.
Send a Location Message postcard when you are traveling, or share the location of a restaurant, or shop.

BlackBerry operating system version 5 or later
BlackBerry with a functioning GPS
User to ensure BlackBerry Location Services selected on default is on the BlackBerry
BlackBerry data services including BlackBerry Maps data services
