focus in on certain information normally overlooked – Business Strength! StockCision does not recommend stocks or provide investment advice; instead, it shows a businesss strength as:

Great! – Green
Good – Yellow
or Below Goal Red

Buying a stock is the same as buying ownership into a business. Therefore, it is critically important to know the business behind the stock this is where StockCision can help you! Instead of focusing on stock price highs and lows, StockCision is a great tool for researching stock business strength.

StockCision measures the strength of a business by its financial statements. It analyzes the following
five indicators over certain years for growth rates of 10% or higher – the GOAL:

ROIC
Equity
EPS
Sales
Cash

Based on the results, StockCision assigns a business strength indicator of Great!, Good or Below Goal. A business that falls into the Below Goal category is not necessarily a bad, weak or terrible business. However, a business that shows Great strength definitely deserves further research if you are interested in purchasing its stock. Remember, all calculations are ESTIMATES Prone to error based on a businesss historical or estimated future growth rates.

StockCision allows you to get a stock quote, search for stocks based on business name, set price alerts
and share stock quote information with others. It also allows you to save stocks of interest and review all saved stocks in a summary report. Additionally, it provides on-demand stock price Refreshes this saves battery life as well as unnecessary internet access.

StockCision provides built-in help text via clicking the button labeled with the term of interest. For instance, to understand what Last Trade means in StockCision, click the Last Trade button. Upon pressing any non-command labeled button, StockCision will display Help text. Additionally, you can press the standard popup menu button white dotted button anywhere in StockCision to access the Help option.

Since stocks can be very complicated, StockCisions current version provides the ability to save a total of 10 Stocks for research analysis and create a maximum of 10 alerts. You can use all 10 alerts for a specific stock or on several stocks. You can also delete stocks and alerts once you have completed your research.

StockCision currently supports the US Stock market and English language. It provides built in support. For example, if an unexpected error occurs, StockCision will present you with an Error screen and give you the option to email the error to [email protected].
