Collect
Collect is a track expenses app. Declare your expenses, charges or payments directly from your native Calendar app using simple formatting conventions.
Just write a quick event in your calendar describing expense or charge indicating negative or positive money value and Collect will integrate it along with posible and customizables categorization terms and record them in a local database. You could then, explore & visualize better your data and generate and send reports including readable graphs.
Its hard to keep up with expense tracking. Complex apps tend to include complex forms, non intuitive interfaces. Collect is unobtrusive, simple and fun.
Some conventions using Collect are:
– Past events are automatically marked as paid or collected. Likewise for the events in the future it is necessary to mark them as paid or collected manually, otherwise they will be marked as "UNPAID" or "COLLECT".
– To indicate payments or receipts you must put a positive or a negative sign in front of the monetary value in the summary of the event. For positive values the sign can be omitted, ie -$200.00 or $45.55 or +$75
– Categories of receipts and payments can be written anywhere in the summary of the event but only one will be accepted last. These categories can be redefined in the application settings. There are some predefined categories with several words associated to them and you could also use "other" as a custom category.
