Paper-Robo

Paper-Robo is an application that allows users to design and build their own paper action figures. They are made from paper and have joints at the hips, knees, wrists and ankles.

This project is largely inspired by Kami-Robo, the brainchild of Tomohiro Yasui. Yasui started crafting paper robots in 1982 at the age of 11, because he couldnt bear the thought of playing with his precious store-bought toys. He used cardboard, scissors, wire, tape, and markers to construct his own durable bots.

Others like paperrobots1999 have followed in Yasuis footsteps, creating intricate paper robots that can transform into vehicles.

Paper-Robo cannot be bought in stores. The designs are a product of ones imagination and have no commercial value. You have to make them yourself and each robot design is unique.
