OSCream
OSCream control surfaces turns your tablet device into a remote controller for your favorite music software.
Already available are several Monome emulator surfaces:
Monome 40h Legacy monomeSerial
Monome 128 new serialOSC protocol
Arc Four Yes!! fully working Arc Encoders
Monome 64 + Arc Two combo surface.
Many more to come, thanks to its modular approach, it is possible to add any kind of surface to OSCream, including and not limited to any kind of remote instruments controllers such as the monome, control surfaces for DAW, multimedia players, lighting consoles and virtually any OSC compliant software or device.
If there is any surface that you would like to see added to OSCream, feel free to ask and Ill do my best to include it in a next version of OSCream.
OSCream exchanges OSC messages with your computer over a TCP network. You can directly connect to OSC application written to communicate over TCP as OSCream uses standard OSC 1.0 compliant message encoding.
This allows you to use your device to control a wide range of music and multimedia software.
To communicate with OSC applications over UDP, launch the free OSCreamServer on your computer. OSCServer is a small tool that will forward all OSC messages between TCP and UDP, allowing OSCream to communicate with UDP OSC applications.
