From 5:30 to 9 am, its Michael Patrick Shiels in the Morning. Michael Patrick Shiels hosts a statewide show that connects you with the movers and shakers of Michigan. He simple has the best connections in the state, and it makes for a very compelling show. From 9 to Noon, its The Frank Beckmann Show, from our sister station WJR in Detroit.
Frank is a Hall of Fame broadcaster, the longtime play by play voice of the Michigan Wolverines football team, in addition to hosting his general interest radio talk show, and writing a regular column for the Detroit News. At Noon, we carry The Tony Gates Show. As Tony says, I may not know, but Im positive! Tony and his cohost, Dave Jaconette talk with the people of Grand Rapids, and find the positive West Michigan stories that youll love. From 2 to 3 pm, Vision Grand Rapids brings you the guests that speak to quality of life issues in West Michigan, including LJJ Speaks, with host Lynne JarmanJohnson, and Business Matters, with the Greater Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
Longtime WZZM13 News Anchor Lee Van Ameyde hosts West Michigans Voice at 3 pm, looking at political issues and current events, and then hosts the Afternoon News, along with WJRW reporter James Gemmell. The popular Mark Levin Show runs from 6 to 9 pm, then its The Allen Hunt Show, and the Jim Bohannon Show.
